About Re-Art Auctions

Art born from competition,
authenticated for eternity

Re-Art partners with Museums, Cultural Institutions, Art Schools, and Art Galleries worldwide to run structured AI art competitions. Artists submit works across Gold, Silver, and Bronze tiers — selection panels choose the best, and each winning piece earns a place in the institution.

When a competition concludes, awarded works enter our auction house. Every digital lot is paired with a cryptographically signed PDF certificate — SHA-256 file hash, artist provenance, institution context — permanently verifiable at auctions.re-art.net/certificate.

1

3

4

Questions & Answers
Create a free buyer account at auctions.re-art.net/register. After verifying your email address your account is active immediately — no waiting period. Once logged in you can place bids on any active lot.
Re-Art Auctions uses a proxy bidding system. Enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay and the system will automatically bid on your behalf up to that limit, outbidding competitors by the minimum increment. An anti-snipe rule extends the auction by a short window if a bid arrives in the final minutes, ensuring fair competition.
A buyer's premium is a percentage added on top of the hammer price (the winning bid). It is paid by the buyer and goes entirely to Re-Art Auctions. The applicable premium is displayed on every lot page before you bid, so there are no surprises at checkout.
Every work in our auction was first awarded by an institution's selection panel in a structured Re-Art competition. Gold is the top-ranked work, Silver is second, and Bronze is third. The tier is permanently recorded in the provenance certificate that accompanies every sale.
Every sold digital work comes with a cryptographically signed PDF certificate. It contains the artwork's SHA-256 file hash, the artist's details, the institution that curated the competition, the tier awarded, and the sale record. You can verify any certificate at auctions.re-art.net/certificate — enter the certificate UUID printed on your PDF to confirm its authenticity.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure Stripe checkout. Payment is collected only when you win — no pre-authorisation is held during bidding. All transactions are processed in USD.
You will receive an email with a secure payment link immediately after the auction closes. Once payment is completed, the high-resolution digital file and your signed provenance certificate are delivered to your account and inbox. For physical lots, shipping details are arranged directly with our team.
Each digital lot is a single-edition work — there are no copies sold by Re-Art. The edition size and any relevant rights granted to the buyer are stated on the lot page. The SHA-256 hash in your certificate uniquely identifies your specific file.
Only works that have been awarded Gold, Silver, or Bronze by a partnering institution's curatorial panel are eligible for auction. The hosting institution also reviews and approves each auction proposal before a lot goes live. This double curation — by the institution and by Re-Art — ensures the quality of every work offered.
Revenue is split according to the terms agreed between Re-Art and the hosting institution at the time of auction approval. Artists receive their share of the hammer price as defined in that agreement. Payouts are processed after the buyer's payment clears and any applicable hold period has elapsed. Contact us if you have questions about a specific payout.
